This sounds like the right way to do things. If I could make one small suggestion based on my current web design work in CSS. It might be nice to create a include.css file somewhere in the file system that never gets overwritten and have it loaded last in the gui. That way anyone with css experience could make more advanced changes (for a web host with multiple servers or something) and not have them lost with updates. Thanks for the hard work.
