Hi Dirk, > Maybe GZip Compression by default is not the best idea? > @Michael: Can you either remove the lines or check what is needed to get > DEFLATE and SSI working together?
I just did some testing on 5209R with Gzip enabled and disabled. As long as the page with the SSI is named *.shtml it works. Regardless if Gzip compression is turned on or off. With pages that just have *.html extension it's indeed hit and miss. My first impulse would be to say: "You should use *.shtml if you want to use SSI." But on the other hand: We shouldn't break things that used to work. And this clearly is the case here. So this update wasn't the best of ideas. I'm rolling the change back and am now publishing an update that removes Gzip compression of static content from /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl_bx.conf for now. It will come back again in an later update (with default set to "Off") and will be configurable through the GUI. -- With best regards Michael Stauber _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list Blueonyx@mail.blueonyx.it http://mail.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
