Greetings, I am new to Blueprint, and relatively new to hand coding CSS and HTML. I hope I am asking the right question in the right forum!
http://springmountainconsulting.com/case-studies/method-homes.html The site works fine in all browsers beside IE (surprise!). Works in IE 8, but falls apart in v7 and v6. Issues: The 2nd navigation falls apart. The background image/logo/gradient changes and the gradient doesn't even show up in v6. I am also having problems getting the page titles and intro text to stay put and IE is moving it all below the logo and gradient area. Here are my questions. -Is there a efficient way to determine what IE bug is causing it and/ or what IE fix should be used? Perhaps a website that lists all IE bugs, or even better, can determine what IE issues your site is experiencing? -What debugging methods do I use to fix this problem? Do I start over and add my page elements until it stops working, or do I plug in IE fixes into my CSS to see if I can fix my way out of the mess without changing my HTML? -Is there something I am doing wrong (relative placement when it should be absolute, for example) with my coding that is reducing the compatibility of Blueprint in IE? If that is the case, I can take these questions to a CSS forum. Thanks!
