List,

Hello. As a blue print newbie. I am trying understand how to set
margins to work with blueprint. In reading over the css file that
comes with blueprint I noticed that the body is built on a 1.5 line
height. I assume this is in ems and is large enough to allow for
varying default font sizes of browsers. Am I right so far?

Not to stray to far from my post but this reminded me that I also
noticed no top margins for paragraphs. I assumed this is not necessary
when one paragraph follows another.

Back to the subject at hand, so when adding margins, or images, I also
assumed I need to set them in multiples of 1.5. Is this also correct?
If so, this could be rather larger depending on the design, especially
for those spaces just below headers.

Of course this is assuming that I have not changed the font size of
the div or paragraph in question. Right now I am using blue print's
typography unchanged.

But, if the font size is changed and I want to add margins, would I
need to calculate those margin insted of using a multiple of 1.5? Is
this correct?

I ask because I got this understanding from reading Richard Rutter's
article "Compose to a Vertical Rhythm" at
http://24ways.org/2006/compose-to-a-vertical-rhythm.
It was a link in one of the articles under the Tutorials Heading at
github.
