Hi! I'm having trouble with overlapping paragraphs. I should state
in advance that I don't care too much about vertical rhythm (heresy, I
know) and I have made various changes to get rid the paragraph indent
and have more space between paragraphs. That said, I have backed
these changes out (except for a body font-size increased to 115%) and
I'm still having a fundamental problem.

Basically, the margin seems to work quite differently between two
successive paragraphs than it does between paragraphs and other
elements, e.g. UL's. If I don't set my paragraph margin-bottom quite
high (e.g. 1.5 to 2ems) the second paragraph will actually overlap the
first! But if I do set the margins that high, there is this huge gap
between a paragraph and a UL (for example). Yes I can individually
set negative margins on problem areas, but I'm hoping there is a
better way.

I have not worked much with style sheets where the line-height is
globally increased... I feel like that is part of the issue. Any
thoughts?
