I wanted to remind everyone of the board elections at The Document
Foundation.
Eike Rathke, Chairman of the Membership Committee, which is in charge of
preparing and overseeing the elections, recently posted all official
details and deadlines, [1] and several candidates have announced their
candidacy on the board-discuss mailing list already. [2]
Self-nomination, of existing board members as well as of new candidates,
is explicitly allowed.
The current board is happy to answer questions on their work on the
mailing lists.
