Thanks for the agenda, Stephen. It seems very odd indeed to discuss the Conflict of Interest policy in secret after a Director has opened the topic for public consideration[1] and when the source document is public[2], especially after a Trustee has called for more and not less transparency[3]. Please can a director explain why the Board has made this decision? The policy does not itself disclose any private or commercially sensitive information, and deciding to seek legal advice does not in and of itself demand secrecy; neither would a fear of controversy or scrutiny.
