Being hired as TDF staff is not equal to becoming a government official
or a tenured professor. It is not a position protected for life.
To be more specific, my concern is the possiblity of turning
contributors away.
Besides the situation aforementioned, I would not have become a
contributor, if someone had fixed CJK issues for me 8 years ago.
Such a negative outcome can be avoided by using the same approach as
with the other areas that receive contributions from TDF staff. The key
is communicating that we need collaborators and will train new volunteers.
