We approved the verbal election procedures that I presented, and I believe the minutes will show that.
Dick is right that there are corner cases we need to document like what happens in the case of a tie and we can vote on those if we like, but we already approved the plan I presented. Otherwise we couldn't have authorized going forward with an election. Suggesting otherwise is counterproductive. -----Original Message----- From: David Recordon [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2008 5:57 PM To: Mike Jones Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [OpenID board] Election Procedures Document? There is also a 6-page written draft of procedures from earlier this year. This is the document I was referring to being updated and approved. I don't believe we voted on all of the needed details but instead the timing of the election and nominations. --David On Nov 20, 2008, at 5:55 PM, Mike Jones wrote: > Agreed, which is why I'm working on making sure that it's all > written down. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Dick Hardt > Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2008 5:54 PM > To: [email protected] > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [OpenID board] Election Procedures Document? > > There are details that were not covered in what you described.
