Even though I understand the need to keep certain things under the hood, it's also striking that exactly those issues are the most critical and crucial for the foundation! We could think about, that whoever can't disclose willingness to join the foundation in some form or the other, shouldn't apply in first place. I know that some here will not agree with that statement, however as an OPEN foundation, it might be appropriate.

BTW, I specifically meant the trademark issue in this case. Of course except sending the lawyers over, I can't see what should be hidden here, this is a straightforward issue which might touch many already participating here and an issue which will come up in the future as well.

The other two issues Dick covered are/might be obviously crucial for the OpenID foundation, it's certainly difficult to accept that it remains private knowledge so far.
