It seems to work now -- I don't think there was a prompt for an OpenID
in the initial screen before. Now there is. That might have been
because I have already been through it.
Definately was a shock the last time I went through as I have logged
in a number of times and then suddenly I have a different UX.

Hmm, I'm not sure why Sxipper doesn't work with the RPX signin.
Unfortunately, it's a bit out of my domain ... I can't change things
on the RPX or Sxipper ends. I'll be happy to help debug, though!

A simple form that someone can type in their OpenID would be
preferable. I would imagine that most people coming to this
particular form already have an OpenID.
I really am NOT a fan of pushing three major providers in this way.

Dick, there was something broken, several members had reported
problems which is why Refresh Media made the change.
Darin or Peat, could you check into the Sxipper problem?
Cheers,

Subject: [OpenID board] Who changed the login flow in the middle of
elections?
Importance: High
The new login flow breaks using Sxipper on the site easily on the
site.
Changing any of the flow for users to nominate, join or vote at this
point in time should NOT be done unless there is a bug. This may be a
better experience for some users, but there was NOTHING BROKEN!
aaaarg!
