An argument against useability as a means of education is really hard
to swallow.

The goal isn't to stop people from understanding how BOINC works, the
goal is to make people more productive. You can integrate GUI and
education in the form of contextual help and links to the wiki, which
would arguably be *more* informative.

Lowering the bar (in this case) just means providing a UI that is
convenient and productive for your audience.

But perhaps it's not really necessary anyway... the BOINC management
scripts are really easy to use and I wonder how much payoff there
would be in the end.
