Just found out the increase of ibdata1 is reported as a bug in Mysql.

The thing is that Mysql is eating up my space in /var, but I have some in a NFS 
system.

Possible to direct the data path to NFS ? I prefer to that to a risk of 
crashing my system.

Any idea is well appreciated,
