Pure J2ME still has many advantages - no slowing graphics, code optimized for mobile platform (!) for maximum performance, availability on many platforms (PDAs, single chips without displays, ...), ... But there is also now one disadvantage - MBOINC must be set as active app... :/
Mobile phone / PDA should surive common working day, however plucking it in USB / electricity plug would be good idea.
