Yes, this is OK for us.

We want (b). Boinc should be completely installed on the USB stick and
run from there. At least this was possible with version 5.x. I have this
version on a nfs network drive and start it from various computers,
which never before had any Boinc installation. We want to place a
account_<project>.xml with the weak account key in the Boinc folder.
This should be used by Boinc to download WUs from the project and run them.

We have no special time line for it. We just working on it and want to
provide it as download on our homepage.
