Hi BOINC dev team! I'm looking for a challenging summer occupation and came across your work by browsing the listed projects on the GSoC site. The field of your work sounds very exciting to me so I took a look around in your repository and signed up for this mailing list.
Long story short, now that Rom mentions the projects listed on your web site I can't help but asking how current - and how relevant for GSoC students - those are? The page got updated 5 month ago and the description on the GSoC website rather hints development for mobile devices... The AndroidBoinc outline by davea caught my attention. I am currently writing my thesis about remotely controlling Android powered devices. The idea of getting to know a serious distributed system and combine that work with my Android experiences sounds like something worth coding the summer away!
