I would agree with HBE here. I have 5 Raspi Pi's (and 2 Parallella's on order). 
The Parallella would really be a similar arrangement but with the Epiphany as a 
coprocessor. The Epiphany has OpenCL support similar to PC's with a GPU, which 
we already treat as coprocessors. We'd want to be consistent.

BOINC on the Pi refers to itself as "arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf". I am sure 
HBE would have run BOINC on the Parallella by now. What does the Parallella 
report itself as?
