I have tested several times this issue started from 1-3 WUs per RPC request on a six core machine for every project. While Iam running my BOINC project in vmware on the same machine the VM seems to blocking the requests / cores. Iam using 4 cores for the VM at the moment. I have stopped the VM and tested it with Enigma, before I got only 3 WUs then around 10. I have no idea how to fix it because I need the server running while running the BOINC client too on the same computer (main system windows 7, ubuntu VM).
