BERLIN (AFP) - German champions Bayern Munich will sit down with goalkeeper Oliver Kahn about extending his contract before the new season. "After Oli's holiday we will sit down and talk with him," Bayern vice-president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild daily. The Germany international's contract runs to June 2006 but he is keen to carry on with the club he joined in 1994.
"I have been at Bayern for 12 years now - the club and I belong together," the 36-year-old Kahn said Wednesday. Kahn will win his 80th cap for Germany when the hosts take on Mexico Wednesday in the Confederations Cup third-place play-off. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
