Pertama kali dikenal duet SAS ya di Blackburn ini (Sutton and Shearer) sebelum jadi SAS part two di timnas England (Shearer and Sheringham). Kaptennya waktu itu si Colin Hendry, centre back gaek asal Skotlandia yang kaya' org albino (kulit putih, rambut putih/blond, alis jg hehehe). Ada juga Jason Wilcox di lini tengah ama Tim Sherwood. Dan mereka bukanlah pemain2 mahal, karena kalo ga salah emang udah 2 tahun-an lebih membela the Rovers saat itu.
