Dahulu derby sengit , bukan hanya Merseyside saja, Spurs vs Arsenal merupakan bebuyutan paling sengit. ( Salut buat detik.com yg pernah mengulas persaingan Arsenal, Spurs dan (sekarang) Chelsea di London ). Derby London selalu menorehkan nama Spurs dan Arsenal di sejarah sepakbola Inggris, mungkin itu sebabnya walau prestasi kurang Spurs selalu diperhitungkan. ada cerita : waktu final Cup Winner Cup (atau UEFA ya ) saat Real Zaragoza vs Arsenal, salah satu pemain Zaragoza, Nayim yg membuat gol kemenangan zaragoza dgn me-lob bola dan membuat Seaman jatuh "bak" nangka rubuh. Dia dedikasi kan golnya untuk fans Spurs juga, karena dia dulu memang pernah bermain untuk Spurs, hal demikian kurang lebih menggambarkan persaingan sengit Spurs dan Arsenal di London.
