Tahun 1902, J.H Davies nyelamatin klub kecil bernama Newton Heath and mengganti namanya jadi Manchester United.
Hanya butuh waktu 6 tahun sejak United didirikan untuk jadi juara di liga inggris..
1907/1908 - Juara Liga Inggris, FA Community Shield
1908/1909 - Juara FA Cup
semua gelar lokal yg ada waktu itu didapetin dalam waktu 7 tahun sejak didirikan, coz league cup baru ada mulai tahun 60an..
