Gw pengen sekali ngeliat dia tuker tempat sama Oba-oba di Inter, liat apa dia kuat ngelawan marking bek bek di Italia.

Gw setuju seperti om Meidian bilang, overrated dan underrated pasti ada sampe akhir jaman, di Italia atau Spanyol sendiri juga ada, seiring populernya kompetisi mereka. tapi gw aneh aja sama orang2 yang kena 'syiar' nya media-media itu.

gak mau ikutan soal owen deh.. menurut aku juga dia terlalu digede2in soalnya.. tapi kalo rooney dibilang biasa-biasa aja keknya gak juga deh.. sejak awal kemunculannya, rooney dah dibilang new star.. gak cuma ma pers inggris lho, arsene wenger aja ngakuin kalo rooney itu talenta terbaik yang pernah dia lihat di tanah inggris.. itu saat rooney pertama kali bikin gol buat everton yg hentiin unbeaten runnya arsenal. kalo yg ngomong orang inggris sendiri sih mungkin masih debatable, tapi yg ngomong wenger nih yg notabene kemampuan menilai pemain mudanya di relatif atas manager yang lain. dia dah ngeliat henry, lampard, beckham, gerard and still ngakuin rooney sebagai pemain paling bertalenta di inggris.. improvementnya rooney sejak komentar wenger ampe sekarang gak bisa dibilang sedikit.. di euro 2004 timnas inggris langsung memble begitu maen tanpa rooney, padahal ada gerard lampard ma beckham...
dibandingin ma nama2 yg disebutin ma bro johan di atas juga, rooney gak lebih jelek lho.. apa sih yg udah didapetin torres, villa ato martins? kalo martins okelah, dia dah dapetin gelar piala liga berarti bisa dibilang sejajar ma rooney kalo soal prestasi.. tapi torres atau villa? prestasi gak ada sama sekali.. berarti bisa dibilang cuma bisa-bisanya media spanyol aja dong gede2in 2 orang ini..
oh iya, 1 hal yg kelupaan.. september 2005, rooney dipilih ma rekan2 sesama pemain bola via FIFpro sebagai pemain muda terbaik di dunia.
ingat, yang milih sesama pemain lho.. bukan media atau fans.. pemain pro tentu lebih objective ngenilainya ketimbang kita fans yang mungkin pro atau kontra ma suatu tim/negara..
btw, kalo fans milihnya christiano ronaldo sebagai pemain muda terbaik dunia 2005... :)
akhir musim 2005/2006 ini dia juga dipilih sebagai PFA young player of the year. lagi2 yang milih rekan2 pemain sepakbola, tapi ini khusus yg maen di liga inggris aja... padahal saingannya gak cuma pemain dari inggris aja, ada cesc fabregas juga tuh, mutiara dari spanyol...
kalo dibilang yg gede2in rooney cuma media inggris.. coba balik ke tanggal 13 desember 2004.. Tuttosport dari italia ngumumin rooney sebagai pemain terbaik di eropa hasil dari voting jurnalis di italia..
ini wartawan italia lho yg gede2in rooney, bukan wartawan lokal..
btw, penghargaan dari tuttosport ini jadi award internasional paling pertama yg diterima rooney.. saat itu dia ngalahin CR7, torres, martins ma robben..
