AV Fade
AV Fade is used to gradually fade the image and audio in, or gradually
fade them for scene transitions.
Free-Style Remote Controller
Fingertip control of basic operations like rec start, stop zoom, and
Photoshot with the Free-Style Remote Controller minimizes jitter from button
operation and helps prevent shooting mistakes. This is especially convenient
when taking high-angle shots over crowds, low-angle shots of babies, or shots
using a tripod.
Hot Shoe
The hot shoe supplies e.cam battery power to compatible optional
accessories
like a DC light, flash, or high-performance mic.
One-touch Magic Strap
At the touch of a button, you can open the lock cover to release the grip
belt and use it as a wrist strap. This lets you carry the e.cam hanging from
your wrist and shoot with the strap in that same position. You can also grip
the strap firmly for stable, low-angle shooting.
Re-attach the grip belt to quickly change it back to a hand strap.
Scene Mode (Program AE)
Use the scene mode dial to automatically determine the optimal aperture
and shutter speed for a variety of shooting situations.
Sports: To capture fast-moving subjects.
Portrait: To make the subject stand out against the background.
Low Light: To record dark scenes so they appear brighter.
Spot Light: To take beautiful images of a subject under a spotlight.
Surf and Snow: To capture images under extremely bright conditions,
like ski slopes and beaches.
Slow/High-Speed Shutter
The shutter speed can be adjusted from 1/2 to 1/2,000 sec* when recording
still pictures onto the SD Memory Card. This lets you select the shutter speed
you want for the subject and brightness level.

Soft Skin Mode
Soft Skin mode detects skin tones and softens details only in those areas
to make wrinkles and blemishes less noticeable. Simply select Soft Skin mode
from the menu screen to capture smooth, beautiful complexions.

Wind NR (Noise Reduction)
Digital signal processing is used to detect wind noise and reduce the
sound that it makes by automatically adjusting the directivity of the mic
according to the wind velocity. This significantly reduces wind noise with
minimal sound degradation.
