2/12/2007
There will be meeting between the Football Federation, Italian Government
and representatives from the football clubs tomorrow to discuss the
situation regarding the stadiums.

Ricky Kakà is proud about becoming an Italian citizen and you can see it in
his eyes

A smiling Ricky Kakà spoke about becoming an Italian citizen today: 'It is
an honour to now be both an Italian and a Brazilian. I am truly happy. This
helps me and it might be able to help Milan.'

Ricky continues to be a shining example in both life and football, he said:
'I hope to continue to be a positive symbol, especially for the kids. I want
to become a champion and do lots of other things to help them see what is
right in life.'

A word about the Rossoneri's newest signing: 'It's great to see Ronaldo on
the field with Milan. I see that he is happy. I've often seen him down in
the past, but here with Milan I see that he is very happy. In fact,
yesterday he already did many great things. We hope to also see one of his
goals soon. I wish him the very best in that regard.'

Kakà ended by speaking about where Milan stand in the league: 'We are two
points from fourth place, we are getting there. Even if it was a tough
victory, like against Parma and Livorno, they are still three very important
points. Now, we must continue towards our objective.'

SEEDORF: 'The true fans of the game paid the price'
2/12/2007 12:20:00 PM
Clarence Seedorf spoke from the Coni organized Italian and Dutch conference
on Sport and Integration

Clarence Seedorf spoke from the Coni organized Italian and Dutch conference
on Sport and Integration: 'There isn't racism in Italy, it's more of a fear
of the unknown. When I arrived in Italy ten years ago there wasn't all this
worry in regards to diversity. Ten years later I see a lot more immigration
and I realize that the people from other cultures can get scared off by this
attitude. However, we must fight against this kind of fear and ignorance.'

Then he turned to the subject of violence in the stadia: 'We must send a
positive message and we must all learn from this and grow. The players
association can and should do more. We want to make our contribution to
fight the violence. What happened in Catania has nothing to do with
football. Nevertheless, there are many ways in which we in the football
world still need to grow. Closing the stadia sent out a strong message, but
changing things will take time. In the end the true fans of the game ended
up paying the price and it just wasn't fair to them.'

CELTIC'S PRIORITY
2/12/2007

MILAN – Celtic recorded their twentieth league victory over Hibernian. Next
up are three important competitions for the team: a league game against
Aberdeen on February 17; the Champions League match against Milan at Celtic
Park on Tuesday, February 20 (kick-off 7.45pm local time); and the Scottish
Cup against Inverness on February 25.

Coach Gordon Strachan responded when asked about the European encounter at
Celtic Park in particular: 'We have to stay focused on our priority and our
priority is to win the league and that gets reinforced all the time. That is
the priority.'
