[rudy] Hari gini di Eropa masih ada perang-perangan juga yah, kemarin gw liat di TVRI atlit Georgia dan Russia berpelukan tuh usai laga di Olimpiade.
*Bersyukur di Indonesia kagak ada perang :D Ciao [/rudy] 8/10/2008 10:23:00 PM | acmilan.com This afternoon Kakha Kaladze talked in a press conference at Milanello to express his regret about the tragic events that are involving Georgia and to cry for help. - THE DECLARATIONS - MILANELLO - This afternoon in the 'chimney room' at the Milanello sporting center, Kakha Kaladze gave a press conference to express a message concerning the tragic events going on in his home country of Georgia. Here is what the Milan defender said: ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GEORGIA AND RUSSIA "Unfortunately we are all aware of the dramatic situation which Georgia is going through, it's a very delicate moment. Russia have begun a war against my nation bombarding all the military bases and also this morning in Tbilisi, Georgia's capital, palaces have been destroyed and many militaries and civilians have lost their lives. The situation is very difficult and today I'm here to help my country from Milan, in the hope that the European Community, NATO, and America can intervene to help my countrymen. Georgia is an independent country, we are fighting to obtain the democracy and to enter the European Community and NATO. My message is to ask the Americans if they can help my country, in order to make this war end and reach a peace treaty. In 1991 Georgia obtained their independence and after two years the Russian militaries arrived with the intent of keeping the peace, but then they tried to impose their positions. The important thing today is that this war ends, because no one wants innocent victims. Personally I have many Russian friends and when I went to their country they always welcomed me and we welcome them when they come to Georgia. I will talk to president Berlusconi and ask him to intervene because I am aware that he has a lot of importance in Europe and he has a good relationship with Putin." ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SPORTS AND THE GEORGIAN EVENTS "Sport can be helpful because the populations of Russia and Georgia have always been friendly, they have gone through many difficult things together and it's not right that because of politics numerous civilians lose their lives. It's absurd to think that we are in 2008 and these things still happen. The Georgian athletes who participate in the Olympics in Beijing wanted to come back, but the president of Georgia asked them to stay to win. They have to continue their Olympic adventure and find the character to continue doing what they're doing. I perfectly understand the difficult situation as it's not easy to be there knowing that your families are going through a difficult situation." KAKHA AND HIS FAMILY IN GEORGIA "I spoke with my family and fortunately my parents are fine because they are in a zone that is a bit further away from the conflict. Compared to when my brother was kidnapped this is situation is certainly worse because an entire nation is involved and seeing those images on television brings tears to my eyes, it's very sad." ON THE CONDITION OF HIS KNEE "My knee is doing well, yesterday I went to Brussels where professor Martens gave me an injection. From tomorrow I will get back to work. Until yesterday I hadn't stopped, but then I felt some pain and I decided to have myself checked. I think I will be there for the Berlusconi Trophy though." -- Cavaliere AC Milan atau tidak sama sekal! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
