Sure, you can put your index.php file in the top level directory side
by side with the boltwire directory, and then modify your index.php
file to look like this:

<?php
$BOLTadmin='admin';
$boltwire = 'boltwire';
include_once("$boltwire/barn/scripts/engine.php");

So now your URL will look like

www.example.com/index.php?p=main...

This is fine for a single website, but if you set up multiple sites,
it's nice to have each site in a separate folder.

Of course, if you are talking about getting rid of the index.php?p=
part, you will need to do some URL rewriting. There's a tutorial on
BoltWire call CleanURL's. It's not the easiest thing in the world to
do, but it's not impossible either.

Cheers,
Dan
