Maybe you can store the duetime as a timestamp, then doing a search
comparing time now with the data values and display only the entries
where time now is equal or less the data value.

The conversion of the timestamp into a human readable form could be
done in the template (it is a double division to get the values like
due in xx days).
But, ok, this would involve a search each time you open the page. It
could be faster to refer to an info report.
