Thanks Markus. Apologies to everyone. I usually take Saturdays off
from BoltWire so didn't get to really work on it till last night. With
little success. This happened once before and I never could solve the
problem. My tech support people said it was BoltWire and I was
convinced they had changed some server setting on me. It seemed to
clear up by itself last time. It's very difficult to debug because I
get no error messages of any value. And I can't reproduce it offline.
Evidently something in BoltWire is hanging or worse, looping. And it
jams up all my allowed server processes. So nothing can get it unless
it just happens to be immediately after some process times out or
something. So you never get 2 or 3 in a row.

Anyway, I've been extensively debugging (slow, challenging process)
and believe it may **POSSIBLY** be related to the snippet bug that was
causing me to get html in my link to the favicon. At least it
temporarily seems to be working fine now. I'll wait a couple hours and
see if it doesn't start again. Feel free to send some traffic to
BoltWire to see if it hold's up.

BTW, the glitch only occurs in specific non-standard installations,
which seems to be why no one else is reporting problems, and my local
installation works snappily. My apologies for the site being down so
long, and my difficulties in fixing it. In fact, it seems to take a
while to build up these processes. So I've no guarantee it's fixed
now. My fingers are crossed though, as it took down all my sites
simultaneously.  :(
