For the records: The following css works fine and it won't make lines
with superscript larger than normal lines.
sup, sub {
height: 0;
line-height: 1;
vertical-align: baseline;
position: relative;
}
sup {
bottom: 1ex;
}
sup a, sup a:link, sup a:visited, sup a:hover {
text-decoration: none;
}
sub {
top: 0.5ex;
}
