The next round of cutting edge releases will involve some changes to
the forms processor--essentially trying to get all commands to run
through session input types, and no other. I don't anticipate the code
being hard, it will be tracking down broken forms that will be more
challenging. But it will be a good step I'm convinced. Hopefully it
will be a short round of fixes. I also have a few old goals here and
there to track down, and perhaps we'll move the mobile skin/plugin
into the core...

Anyway, this first release doesn't do any thing major towards any of
those goals, but it does fix a few bugs mostly. It's tricky enough and
involved enough changes to warrant not simply updating 3.3. Which will
not be changed unless there is a MAJOR reason to update it. From the
changelog for 3.3.1:

* Reworked how the current zone is monitored so it works properly in
functions, and is available as a $BOLTzone global. In the process
solved the extra spacing issue in search results.
* Changed the BOLTvars function so the $auth parameter is second
position not third. Please check any custom code that depends on this
parameter.
* Made it possible to disable the extra line returns being added on
selected zones by using capital in the zone marker.
* File upload labels are now not escaped so you can use styling and
even the img:pdf.jpg format in them.
* Fixed bug in table stripes, so stripes end with the close of the table.

Notice the ability to now define zones in the skin with capital
letters turns off the automatic endings on those zones, making it a
good fix for the RSS plugin and perhaps other problems we've had.
Mostly spacing issues in custom skins. Let me know if you notice any
problems with this release.

Cheers,
Dan

P.S. I've also updated the mobile plugin a couple times, the store
plugin, and the rss plugin. This page is a good place to go to check
that your plugins are always the latest version as I often patch
things without really reporting it here:
