Hi, There is an online tool to compare a site's colors to the recommendations in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0:
http://www.accesskeys.org/tools/color-contrast.html It puts in numbers what my eyes have already told me about BoltWire's default theme. (And adds some big red "fail" buttons to it. :)) I am in the lucky position to sit in a sunny room at the moment. But my old TFT which is not as bright as today's displays gives me an uneasy reading experience on boltwire.com. I know I have said the following before. But I will repeat myself once more before putting me into silence mode regarding this issue: I believe boltwire.com would benefit from a sensible skin and navigation update. I have mentioned issues like the confusing "linking to the same page with different link names" and some others. Today, I mentioned contrast. Tomorrow, I might mention that it is unpleasant to browse to the contribution pages without using a bookmark. My brain is not that good at finding a page name in a huge list. And just adding another link to the side bar is not a (good) solution. If you want me to make a proposal, send me the field and give me some time to think and test changes. If the community likes the result, fine, if not, nobody got injured (hopefully). Best wishes, Markus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BoltWire" group.
