Hi all/Alex, Just to outline what I've been planning in the deep dark evil regions of my brain:
Basically, I've been hacking a bit on some code which will possibly end up being a part of the Avocado/Crystal API. What I'd like to do is have the API and bits ready to go, then start hacking on the client itself. Obviously when we actually do the client, the API will probably end up getting refined. What I'd like to do, however, is have this code in our SVN (or at least, some other public repository). Mainly so that others can check out what I'm doing, make changes quickly and easily, or write new bits if they feel so inclined :) At the moment, there's about one example which runs on the code, and theoretically could run with the current Dragonfly server if a few changes were made. That's the only other issue I have - there's a few things that need to modified in the current Dragonfly server to get the responses/locations right. So, I'm not sure how we want to approach this. Branch? Seperate module (similar to where Ninja was before)? Keep it the hell away from Bongo as-is for the moment? Also, not quite sure what we want to do with the Dragonfly code - if we do end up modifying it (which I haven't done yet, at the moment, all my additions are straight new files), then do we want to merge it in the future? If not, why/why not? Cheers, Alex Hixon _______________________________________________ Bongo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/bongo-devel
