Hey everyone, Just for the benefit of those not on IRC: last night I turned in Bongo's Google Summer of Code application. We find out at 19h UTC on March 17th - a week today - whether or not we've been successful.
I did ask last year what we could do to improve our application, and the response was mostly about improving our ideas page - ranking projects in terms of difficulty, etc. I've tried to do this on the Wiki: if you have more ideas, or can make further improvements, please go ahead. My gut feeling is that we won't be accepted again this year, but I put in as good an application as possible and hopefully our enthusiasm for GSoC will show through. If we _do_ get accepted for GSoC, I'd like to hold an IRC meeting on the 18th to outline the next steps well before students have to start applying, particularly to make sure that students who turn up with questions have somewhere to go. Cheers, Alex. _______________________________________________ Bongo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/bongo-devel
