I meant to send this message a couple of days ago, but eh.
So: we need to do a release soon! I'd like to propose 31st May - it
gives us three weeks to do some final work and get stuff straight, and
it also fits with my work schedule ;)

I don't actually think there is really three weeks' work left - pretty
much everything in Bongo is a step ahead of 0.4, from support for
SquirrelMail, reduction in various bugs, etc. So, I'm not proposing to
do too much really:
* it would be nice to get the default SSL certs we create to be
accepted by Tbird rather than come up as corrupt, and make SMTP
TLS work by default - Steve-o on IRC has done a fabulous report on
this, which I will post if he doesn't, and it would be good to get
this all straight.
* I'd like to get bongo-manager start-up/shut-down cleaner, if we
can (but I might punt this)
* the install needs to be a bit more error tolerant
* I'd like to switch the logging system away from log4c.
If anyone else has anything to nominate for 0.5, please shout.
