Heh. I had a licence to hug women at the recent Australian Bookcrossing Conference. When Pauline walked into the room, she smiled uncertainly as I rushed over and gave her an enthusiastic embrace. All the others at the table said, hey, what about me, so I worked my way around them as well, taking an immense amount of pleasure in giving everyone in sight a good cuddle. Pauline is a total darling, leading interstate and international travellers all over Sydney at a cracking pace and then guiding us through the slum quarter to and from a trivia night. And then she went home and proofread for Project Gutenberg before taking a shift as a volunteer at a local hospital. There's something special and generous about Bookcrossers, and when you get a bunch of them together, it's just magic. You would have felt much the same at St Louis earlier this year, Jason - one of the few men in a room full of gorgeous women. -- Peter in Canberra ------------------------ Yahoo!
