Hi, Char, It's not info about cancer per se, but, here, read this article: http://www.happynews.com/news/lotsa-helping-hands.htm
It's a Happy News article about a guy who founded a website that is geared toward friends of critically ill people (or friends of people having a rough time for some other reason: house burned down, lost job, baby born premature, etc.). The wife of the man who founded the site was ill for four years with cancer. Sometimes they would get more casseroles delivered to them than they could eat; sometimes it was quiet, no food delivered. Also sometimes it's hard for people to ask for help. This site (http://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/) would allow you to coordinate the efforts of people who want to help your friend. Hope it helps, Mary in Penna. -- One Quote a Day, Five Days a Week http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Marys_QOD/ Have you told a friend today? http://bookcrossing.com/tellafriend Archives and email list settings: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BookCrossing Yahoo!
