Amen-feral cats are killing a large segment of the bird population. They
are diseased, unhappy, really better off euthanised but cat lovers still
keep feeding them so they can multiply. steffi

The kittens rarely grow up at all - they mostly end up food for magpies,
bluetongues and the occasional vicious bastard of a dog whose owner walks
 them without a leash.

It's abandoned adults that go feral - ones that have practiced for years on
the lizards and noctournal small mammals they hunt at night, when they're
bored by the lack of human society and some idiot locks them out where there
are defenceless clawless animals instead of curfewing them at sundown and
 locking them in.
