On the Yahoo groups Bookcrossing page there is a database called
BookCrossers InstantMessaging/LJ Database where everyone has entered
information in the past.
We can either use this one to add our Yahoo Messenger names or start a new
one.
I need to edit mine.

Gang,
Couldn't help but notice todays posts with everyone giving out their
Yahoo IM address. I am usually a lurker here and I am sorry about
that but I wanted to share this small piece of technology I use that
makes it easy for me. It warms my heart to see this type of
communication. I wanted to throw out a suggestion because there may
be Bookcrossers on this group that are here on Yahoo but have another
IM that they use more often or even exclusively that is not the Yahoo
IM.
I use Trillian Pro by Cerulean Studios. I can choose IMs from
different types. Yahoo, MSN, AIM, Jabber, ICQ it does not matter to
me. I add them all.
I hope this small plug helps all of you. My apologies to the list
moderator here. Even though it looks like an endorsement of the
product, I can honestly say that I am not in any way affiliated with
Cerulean Studios other than being a user of the product. I am just
posting so that if anyone wants to take advantage of this technology
(like I have) can do so. Hopefully it will make life easier for you.
I am [EMAIL PROTECTED] for anyone who wants to IM me as well.
Hopefully, this will help. Thanks for allowing the post.
