I love Half Price Books.  My mom is so mad because I introduced her to them but 
HPB isn't in Illinois yet!  Whenever I need a pick-me-up, a spree at HPB is 
just what I need!

Funny to hear Half Price Books referred to as a "chain used bookstore", 
since I used to go to the very first one in Dallas and my husband worked for 
them when they opened up in Austin.  They certainly didn't start out as a 
chain; started out as a single used bookstore filling a need and grew as the 
need did.  Shame on them! ;-)
