Too many books? I suggest you set up an OBCZ
(less work than you think if you set it up in a
place you visit regularly anyway) or ship a
boxfull of books to me for the one I've set up to
help encourage literacy in this hick town.

The hardest part of maintaining an OBCZ for me is
making sure I have enough books in it at all
times. (I don't get many donations.) I will pay
(paypal is easiest :) for postage for any books
you want to send. The only thing that doesn't
move in my box is Romance. Science fiction and
children's books would be especially welcome.

I have a friend in Reno who is maintaining an
OBCZ in the office of her apartment complex. She
would especially love books for children in
Spanish or bi-lingual, or any books in Spanish.
Her clients are regularly taking out the books,
and then putting most of them back in later -
which is neat because they obviously get the
'sharing' books concept, but don't have the
resources to journal. I always share whatever I
buy or recieve that is likely to be appropriate
with her.

Thank you!
Cheryl
