the one coffee shop that I go to is inside a bookstore were they promote
bookcrossing they have meettings there were someone reads from something and
there are discussions and it is rather neat I would be warry of something like
this not just in a coffee shop but in various places that dont have space or
seem wanting that is why me and a few friends tend to ask the managers what
there policy is on things like that

Wow! I didn't know that.
I tend to release at coffee shops that have bookshelves
and therefore the books are right there with the others.
But I guess it is a good warning to all
not to release at a coffee shop that doesn't have a bookshelf.

----Workers at such places tend to just dump material at teh end of the
shift if
there are too many books and a lot don't get taken. Perhaps find a weekend
market or car boot sale, and leave a pile of books with a "Free" sign
pointiong to them at such an outdoor event where peopel are wandering past?
