I can't believe another month has passed! I read 5 books and listened to 2 for a total of 7.
One Last Kiss - Judith Kelman - B - Good story but poorly written imo. Thea has gone to a mental hospital after killing a man running for US Senate. Now she's back home with her 8 year old daughter and is taking pills daily to keep her from killing again. In Plain Sight - Lorena McCourtney - B - These are fun cozies, kind of remind me a bit of the Southern Sisters except it's one LOL (Little Old Lady) as she calls herself. Loud in the House of Myself - Stacy Pershall - NF - A - Well written book by Stacy explaining her disorder before and after she was finally treated with the correct meds. She suffers from anorexia, bulimia, depression, bipolar and borderline personality. Bird House - Kelly Simmons - A - Ann is a 70 year old grandmother who is remembering and connecting with her 8 year old granddaughter through a school project. Ann is becoming forgetful but not dangerously so and likes spending time with her son's daughter. She is remembering a secret that she has kept hidden all these years. Specials - Scott Westerfeld - B - YA - Tally is now a Special and she and her fellow Cutters are looking for the New Smoke so they can capture them and turn them all into Pretties. But things don't always turn out the way you think. AUDIOS : Murder Makes Waves - Anne George - B+ - While on vacation, the girls discover the dead body of a friend on the beach. Murder Gets a Life - Anne George - B - Mary Alice's son Ray marries into a very provocative family. Sunshine has disappeared after a dead body is found in her grandmother's trailer at the "compound".
