Good Morning Folks,
Well it would appear that book dealers are mostly
a bunch of delinquents :-)
And before anyone moans at the above, I am teasing you.
That e-mail was actually sent out on the 31st of
July which was the last day on which we were
supposed to register. All the mailing lists for SABDA
including the book-link list coincidently went down
sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning
of last week and were only resuscitated yesterday so
now you are receiving a flurry of e-mails which are
actually a week old already. However, the question is
still very relevant and please continue to send in
your answers. We are still in the process of trying
to solve these issues and your feed-back would be
greatly appreciated. There are many people who haven't
yet registered.
Our shop was completely swamped with stock yesterday,
I was sweating at 09 : 00 trying to move the lot. I
shall not be paying over R 99.95 for any single
object in there though :-) I just wanted all of you
to know that I have your responses and I will
respond a bit later and I will contact the police
later on to get some more feed-back re the
gazetting of exemptions for the book trade. I will
give some more feed-back to you either today or on
Thursday I am just a little under siege at the moment.
