thanks guys. I haven't gone through the whole power down/power up routine yet.... but that was in the armoury. The more network devices come into the house, the more of a hassle it is.
On the PSU thing. To me, if the unit powers and lights up, connects to the network and accepts IR input, then I can't really see why that would stop it finding an IP address?? Is there any way a reduced power supply through a poor connection might do that?? Similarly, if it connects to the network, then presumably the wifi card must be properly seated?? ta Donald SB user since 2000... 3 x Touch; 2 x Boom ; 4 x Classic; 1 x Controller Controlled by iPad using 'Squeezepad' Vortexbox/Nova appliance running LMS version 7.9 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ donmacn's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36036 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106932 _______________________________________________ Boom mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/boom
