Thankfully, it does seem to be the power supply. Using a voltmeter at work suggests it's giving no output. I think I've found an appropriate one to test it, is the spec of the power supply on the 'Net anywhere? The one I've found appears to have the positive output as the 'inner' of the plug. Is this the correct polarity?
