The connector is definitely the JST part identified. Perfect fit in the socket. I also ordered a new 12v connector although I understand it'd probably have been solved by the deoxy spray. The new part was less than $1, and it's already disassembled and easy enough to solder it. Had I seen these threads before I started, I'm sure just using the spray likely would have saved me lots of hassle.
Thanks for the support here in the forum! Glad to keep one more Boom in service! And if anyone else breaks that connector, the referenced part will solve it. Just keep track of the wire order. I documented with pictures at the outset.
