Hi, I am a newbie to boost, and I don't know if this issue has been addressed.
I am trying to build the boost libraries on a Win2k machine with MSVC++ 6 installed, so I downloaded bjam, added it to the path, added the boost libraries path to the include path and started the build with the command "bjam -sTOOLS=msvc", and here is what I am getting: ********************************* D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\dev\boost_1_30_0>bjam -sTOOLS=msvc --------------------------------------------------------------------- skipping Boost.Python library build due to missing or incorrect configuration couldn't find Python.h in "/usr/include" You can configure the location of your python installation by setting: PYTHON_ROOT - currently "/usr" PYTHON_VERSION - The 2-part python Major.Minor version number (e.g. "2.2", NOT "2.2.1") - currently "2.2" The following are automatically configured from PYTHON_ROOT if not otherwise set: PYTHON_LIB_PATH - path to Python library object; currently "/usr/libs" --------------------------------------------------------------------- ...found 2178 targets... ...updating 364 targets... vc-C++ libs\regex\build\bin\libboost_regex.lib\msvc\debug\runtime-link-dynamic\c_re gex_traits.obj The system cannot find the path specified.
