Since our tech meetings have outgrown the space at Focalex, next month
we're going to try something new!
On Tuesday, February 13, at 7pm, we'll be meeting at the offices of
Boston.com near South Station. (So you can do your last minute Valentine
shopping downtown and then go to the meeting!) Thanks to Andrew Langmead
and Marc Lavallee for arranging this for us!
The topic for February's meeting will be practical applications of XML.
James Freeman will present PISE, a software package that creates HTML
interfaces to command-line tools, based on specifications in XML. (An
abstract of James's talk will be sent in a later message.)
Mike MacHenry will present Any2XML, a set of modules for creating XML
documents with data from text files using a template that is also an XML
document.
More details will be provided as the date approaches.
Please RSVP to me if you plan on attending the meeting.
