Since my cookout is coming up this Sunday, I figured it might help if I give some tips on how to drive here. I just checked and I noticed that MapQuest has a flaw in their maps, so please don't trust their directions without printing out their associated maps. This is what I would consider the way to get there that is easiest to follow. ---------------------------------------------------- Take the Southeast Expressway (93 South) Be aware that at the Rt 3/Rt 93 split, you will want to keep right. Take Rt 24 South, (exit 4). Be aware that the exit is on the left side of the highway. Take Rt 27 North, (exit 18 B) and follow it for 3 miles. There are two places that the road forks, and in instances route 27 is the left fork. Take a left onto Sumner Street. Drive down about 1/2 mile to Duncan Rd. (Duncan is the 3rd right. Gay Street, Brickel Rd, and then Duncan. The street sign for Duncan Rd is a little hard to spot, so look for Brickel, and then look for Duncan a moment later.) The house is the second one on the right, 39 Duncan Rd. It has yellow house with green shutters. ---------------------------------------------------- Directions from Mapquest or other places may pick other routes, and for the most part they are almost reasonable. (Rt 139 might get you there a minute or two sooner, etc.) One advantage of this set of directions is that it avoids Stoughton center. Stoughton center is a poorly designed mess. On the north side of the center you have three major roadways (rt 27, rt 138, and Pearl St) which converge into a single lane and on the south side of the center there are another three roadways (rt 27, rt 138, and rt 139) A couple of smaller side streets get added to the mix, tooo. Somewhere in between, Rt 27 and rt 138 switch over. (Rt 27 comes in on the right, but then leaves on the left. Rt 138 vice versa.) All of this without the benefits of traffic lights. From the Stoughton center, you want to take 27 South and then look for Sumner street on your right. If you drive on 139, into Stoughton Center, you can't take a left onto Rt 27. This is the mistake that Mapquest makes. Any questions, feel free to send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or call at 781-344-0016. See you at Sunday around 1:00. -- "I'm going to sing Twinkle Twinkle in Jazz: TWINKle, TWINKle, lit-tle-star. HOW i WONder what-you-are..." - Samantha Langmead, age 4
